Collarbone Necklace

Collarbone - Suspended linear collarbone framing necklace.

-Sterling silver neck piece and chain, blackened if you like.

-Blackened silver may naturally polish with wear, allowing the silver base to shine through over time. Blackened silver may also react to different body chemistries or environmental factors thus allowing the silver base to shine through in places. I am happy to touch up the blackened finish if you are willing to ship it back to me.

-Blackened silver should not be deliberately polished as it will cause the silver to shine through.

-Just over 15cm (~6 inches) from side to side.

-Just over 7.5cm (~3 inches) in rise.

-Functionally the neck piece hangs as if it were a 16 inch chain, with the spread and dip of the neck piece measurements affecting the way the chain hangs.

-The neck piece has been angled to help it lay flat against the collarbone. To allow the angle to lay appropriately, the lobster clasp should be held in the right hand when putting the necklace on.

-The item you will receive is not the version seen in this photograph.

PLEASE BE AWARE:
-All metal will darken/oxidize with exposure to air, but can quickly be brought back to lighter tones by rubbing with steel wool for a brushed finish or a polishing cloth for a smooth finish.
-Blackened silver should not be polished.
-To delay oxidation please store in a sealed ziplock bag.
