Mouse Ears

Mouse Ears - Hand fabricated Mickey inspired hoops. For the maximal, minimalist fan.

-Just over 7 cm (~2.75 inches) at widest point.

-Just over 6.5 cm (~2.5 inches) in height for mouse shape, total height ~8 cm (~3.25 inches).

-18 gauge sterling silver ear wire, slightly larger than my standard ear wire but can be worn comfortably in most piercings.

-Wire tension is used to keep the earrings closed during wear. Use a gentle approach to opening and closing the earrings to maintain the appropriate shape for tension.

-These earrings are hand shaped from start to finish. Symmetry is the goal, however there may be slight differences in shape between the two earrings.

-The item you will receive is not the version seen in this photograph.

-Most items are made to order. Please allow two weeks from the sale date for your order to be processed. If you need your order sooner, please let me know. I should be able to accommodate your needs!

PLEASE BE AWARE:
-All metal will darken/oxidize with exposure to air, but can quickly be brought back to lighter tones by rubbing with steel wool for a brushed finish or a polishing cloth for a smooth finish.
-Steel wool is not recommended on blackened silver.
-To delay oxidation please store in a sealed ziplock bag.
-With wear, blackened silver can become naturally polished, and may reveal the silver base losing some of its darker tone.
-Blackened silver should not be polished.
