Widow’s Peak Earrings - Small

Widow’s Peak Earrings - Size Small. V shaped statement earrings.

-Available in two sizes, please see my other listings for size large.

-This listing is for one pair of Widow’s Peak earrings, size small.

-Just under 6.5cm (~2 1/2 inches) in total height.

-Just over 2.5cm (~1 inch) in width at widest point of V shape, with about 5mm of extension in ear wire closure.

-All metal varieties are connected by sterling silver closed hoops, meaning brass and copper will have a mixed metal look.

-Sterling silver ear wires in 18 gauge.

-The earrings are opened and closed by using wire tension. Please be careful not to change the shape of the ear wires while opening or closing the earrings.

-To open and close the earring, it is best to put the outward pressure on the lower part of the earring (gently push the thick square wire of the v shape outward, then maneuver the ear wire in or out of the hoop). This way the tension between the ear wire and the v shape can be maintained for proper wear.

-Please see the final photo for an example of both sizes. This listing is for a pair in size small.

-These earrings are hand shaped from start to finish. Symmetry is the goal, however there may be slight differences in shape between the two earrings.

-The item you will receive is not the version seen in this photograph.

PLEASE BE AWARE:
-All metal will darken/oxidize with exposure to air, but can quickly be brought back to lighter tones by rubbing with steel wool for a brushed finish or a polishing cloth for a smooth finish.
-It would be best to lay these on a flat surface while cleaning with steel wool so as to not inadvertently bend the shape.
-To delay oxidation please store in a sealed ziplock bag.
